Plus, you get multiple artist art that sequences while listening, and you can call up Wikipedia artist details and youtube live performances at the same time. (To be clear - it doesn't always work for everything, but what does?). It automatically organizes, uses album art, and mixes your music selections (or not) in just about any ordering you want.

The MusicBee listening environment is vastly superior to Foobar. Foobar is extremely counter-intuitive on attempting Exclusive Mode and it never works properly.Ģ. This is important to stop drop-outs on some slower PCs and laptops (or even fast ones with little control on process priorities).

It allows you to select the audio source and drivers manually, the same as Foobar, but MusicBee is superior in two respects:ġ. I have used Foobar2000 for years, but I personally favor MusicBee these days. It's a wonderful program, but it's really for deeply analyzing an audio file, not creating your music collection.

AFAIK, there are only two - EAC and the one I can't remember.ĮDIT: NOTE that EAC is completely FREE - no ads, no nuisance popups, etc.Īudacity is not appropriate for this, either. There's another type of CD ripper out there that's just as good, but I can't remember the name. Pipe organ music sounds much better with this than my Yamaha's Silent Cinema headphone virtual surround sound. "Houston, we have a problem!" Apparently, I have the D30 and A30 set up correctly because I think I have A LOT of CDs that are going to sound better on this Topping duo than on my AVR.
